FarmOnline^® management
FarmOnline^® is a management tool, which SKOV has developed for use by the increasingly larger pig and poultry farms. The system ensures the producer the highest possible yield from his production facilities. FarmOnline^® is able to monitor several house computers from a central location and present the collected data graphically. 

Fast and safe communication
SKOV’s new generation of house computers has a built-in LAN Ethernet. This means that it is not necessary to collect data between house computers and a PC thanks to the live connection of FarmOnline^® to all house computers on the farm.

The system also makes it possible for the producer to react immediately to an alarm and, if required, change the house computer setup via FarmOnline^®. When an alarm is generated, the producer can react quickly and efficiently. Quick action may ensure the welfare of the animals as well as reduce or completely prevent financial losses.

Complete overview
To facilitate the overview of the farm, the producer can place a photo or drawing of the farm on the opening page of FarmOnline^®. In this way, the producer will have a drawing on his PC that looks exactly like the actual conditions.

FarmOnline^® uses the new IT standard for this sector, which Danish Pig Production has developed in cooperation with the industry. This makes it possible to communicate with other systems, thus enabling the producer to get an overview of the various systems through FarmOnline^®.

FarmWatch^®
The drinking pattern of pigs indicates a lot about their immediate well-being. FarmWatch registers and analyses the pigs’ water consumption. This means that e.g. an outbreak of diarrhoea in weaners is discovered by FarmWatch® 12-24 hours before any visible symptoms appear. Such early warning means that measures for handling the problems can be taken quickly and efficiently. Quick action will solve the problems faster, requiring the least possible effort. In the case of diarrhoea, this means reduced use of medications, improved growth and reduced mortality.
