Production control
SKOV’s production computers monitor and control the supply of feed and water to the animals and register the weight of the animals through continuous weighing. In addition, the production computer keeps track of the current number of animals, stocked animals and dead animals.
DOL 539 climate and production computer
The DOL 539 climate and production computer is a new generation of house computers which sets new standards for user-friendliness and quick access to data processing. DOL 539 is equipped with a large graphic touch screen enabling navigation in the program via icons on the screen. The menus are simple and logically designed including optional selection of personal shortcuts on the front page. Likewise, the DOL 539 house computer is LAN-based and has thus the possibility of direct connection to FarmOnline® via a 100 Mbit Ethernet.
DOL 539 - production functionality
The DOL 539 production functionality is available in two modules with different functionality levels. Simple production functionality or production functionality with the possibility of mixing several feed components.
DOL 539 production module
The DOL 539 production module can handle all basic functions needed in connection with poultry production, e.g.:
- Weighing of birds (poultry weigher). Four weighers can be connected per livestock house enabling separate weighings of males and females.
- DOL 539 can control feeding activated on preset dates by means of a 24-hour clock.
- Weighing of feed (feed weigher or silo weighing).
- The water consumption is summed up in m3/bird. To facilitate the comparison with previous days, the water consumption is likewise summed up in percentages.
- Light control (on/off and light intensity).
- Recording of the number of stocked, culled and dead birds.
DOL 539 production module including mixing of feed
The DOL 539 production module including mixing of feed also provides the possibility of mixing four feed components according to an advanced feed program which also registers the consumed quantity of feed. DOL 539 works together with DOL 9940 or the DOL 99B feed weigher which both are known for their high accuracy and great reliability. The computer can handle gradual changes between the four different feed components. The program can be used for both pan and chain feeding. With this module, it is also possible to supply a separate quantity of feed and mixture to a total of nine destinations in one livestock house.
DOL 95 Broiler/Breeder production computer
DOL 95 Broiler is a production computer capable of handling all basic functions in poultry production. DOL 95 Breeder is used for birds being reared and parent stock. Apart from the functions contained in DOL 95 Broiler,it provides separate outlet feeding which is used in houses where birds are divided into groups with different feeding needs or in production of parent stock requiring separate outlet feeding of females and males.
DOL 96 weighing computer
DOL 96 is designed specifically for controlling production in houses with broilers where it can register the weight of the birds. DOL 96 is available in three models which can be connected to two, four and eight poultry weighers, respectively. For each poultry weigher, DOL 96 calculates data such as average weight, growth, reference weights now, etc.
