Air inlets
The air inlet is an essential part of a SKOV ventilation system. SKOV’s specialists have many years’ experience in developing well-functioning components for air inlets. Several factors determine which type of air inlet to choose in order to get the most out of the ventilation system.
DA 1200 wall inlet
DA 1200 is a wall inlet which is easy to adapt to different buildings. It is designed to ensure optimum air current at all ventilation levels. A group of DA 1200 inlets can be opened by advanced inlet control, thus ensuring uniform air distribution in the entire house at minimum ventilation
DA 1500/1800 ceiling inlets
DA 1500 is a ceiling inlet that allows regulation of airflow, air velocity and air direction in relation to temperature and house layout. The design of the inlet shutter means that the air always flows along the ceiling. The capacity of DA 1500 can therefore be used to its full potential ensuring optimum air current, even at low and medium ventilation.
The DA 1800 ceiling inlet is an efficient, additional air inlet bringing fresh air into the house via the garret when it is very hot outside. The inlet is designed for use in houses with diffuse air intake.
DA 50 roof inlet
DA 50 is a roof inlet used in houses requiring air intake from the garret or from above the roof. DA 50 is fitted with air split baffles ensuring that air flows into the house in several layers, thus providing a high output at low air velocities. The inlet is designed for use in houses with LPV ventilation.
DA 40A air supply unit
DA 40A is an air supply unit with 12 individually adjustable nozzles for perfect distribution of air in the house. DA 40A reduces the risk of inconveniences caused by draught. DA 40A is designed for use in houses with equal pressure ventilation.
Curtains
Curtains are adjustable air inlets for natural ventilation where air is taken in through openings in the outside wall of the house. Curtains can be delivered with stepless regulation and the openings can be regulated manually or fully automatically. The opening areas can be varied in order to ensure optimum air intake in relation to wind impact and house layout.
Rack & Pinion
Rack & Pinion is used to open/close the tunnel opening in houses ventilated using Combi-Tunnel/Tunnel ventilation. SKOV supplies the critical components, including various installation kits, to ensure optimum functioning of the air intake.
