Air outlets
In a SKOV ventilation system, air is let out through chimneys or wall fans. SKOV has many years’ experience in developing sturdy, efficient and well-designed air outlets with an extremely high output. The choice of air outlet depends on different factors.
SKOV’s air outlets are designed to ensure high air output at low energy consumption.
It is not enough that the individual units are efficient in themselves, the interaction between and total control of the units are equally important aspects. Most SKOV ventilation systems are therefore controlled according to the MultiStep® principle which is capable of reducing energy consumption by 50% while at the same time ensuring optimum use of the fresh air.
DA 600, DA 800 and DA 920 chimneys
The DA chimneys from SKOV are fitted with a fan. The design of the chimneys is aerodynamic to ensure optimum air output at low energy consumption. DA 600, DA 800 and DA 920 are easy to install on the ridge or the side of the roof. A stable, reliable and tight installation is ensured if roof sheets are used. The DA chimneys are extremely sturdy under all weather conditions.
Wall fans
Wall fans are ideal as air outlets when additional capacity is needed in large or where large airflows are required. When the requirement for air exceeds a certain level, one or more of the wall fans can be connected to supplement the chimneys. Alternatively, all the air can be let out through wall fans. Wall fans are often installed in Combi-Tunnel and Tunnel-ventilated houses in tropical/subtropical regions.
Ridge air outlet
SKOV’s ridge unit is used as an air outlet in connection with natural ventilation. The ridge unit is made of transparent, insulated and UV-resistant plates that ensure good light conditions in the house. The ridge unit is available with a fixed or adjustable air outlet. The outlet can be adjusted manually or fully automatically, sideways or steplessly. In this way, optimum air outlet is created in relation to the predominant wind impact and house layout.
