Innovation Award 2011
Presented by Hans Harding ApS
To enhance the focus on the business activities and cultural life in North Jutland, Hans Harding ApS has instituted an Innovation Award to be presented annually to a local company in recognition of its distinguished efforts to develop new and innovative products.
The Innovation Award consists of a work of art, created by a local artist.
The Innovation Award 2011 is presented to the company SKOV A/S in Glyngøre, represented by Leo Østergaard, Product and Development Manager, who has been at the head of recent years' efforts to extend and strengthen the company's international position via targeted and skilfully executed research work and high-tech product development.
SKOV A/S is an international market leader in climate control and production monitoring, air cleaning and farm management for animal production. The company employs some 270 employees, and exports account for more than 85% of its production.
This year's Innovation Award is a sculpture created by North Jutland artist Carsten Hansen from Støvring.
The award ceremony will be held at SKOV A/S on Friday 9 September 2011 at 10:00 am.
