SKOV takes over Spiraflex Heating for Livestock Houses
As of 1 March, SKOV A/S take over the activities in Spiraflex A/S which for the last twelve years have provided heating solutions to animal productions at home and abroad.

SKOV and Spiraflex concluded an agreement on 1 December 2008 and SKOV was to take over the sales of Spiraflex heating systems on the Danish market. In connection with a generational change within Spiraflex, SKOV takes over all activities in the company as of 1 March.

- We have chosen to take over the activities in Spiraflex as we have worked closely together for many years - both in Denmark and on the export markets. Spiraflex is known for good products and the company enjoys a good reputation - nationally as well as internationally, says managing director Joergen Yde Jensen, SKOV A/S.

House heating is an important part of the total climate solution and a crucial parameter to create an optimum house climate which contributes to a high productivity.

- Cost of heating is one of the major operating costs in the production and it is extremely dependent on an optimum interaction with the ventilation system. Therefore, solutions concerning heating are a natural part of the SKOV product portfolio, continues Joergen Yde Jensen.

SKOV climate computers have controlled heating for many years. With the takeover of Spiraflex, SKOV can now offer a complete climate solution so the customer only has to approach one supplier.

- SKOV has more than 35 years' experience in controlling the climate in pig and poultry houses. The takeover of Spiraflex enables us to further optimise the complete climate solution through product innovation, concludes Joergen Yde Jensen.
