For two weeks, we have had the pleasure of training a group of Latin American technicians. The participants come from Argentina, Chile, El Salvador, Mexico og Peru and they have been through intensive training conducted by SKOV’s Latin American support.
Farm visits and customized training
The first week was a customized Advanced Service Technician Training with focus on the individual participants’ needs and cases. Also, the group went on two farm visits where they were given a demonstration of the smoke test that is used for testing the airflow in the livestock house.
Exercise in realistic environment
At the headquarters, we have made realistic training facilities for mechanical mounting of inlets, interlinking, high-pressure cooling, outlets, pad cooling, rack & pinion, etc. The group made a lot of practical exercises supervised by the Mechanical Fitter Brian Nielsen and Support Manager Vernon H. Espinosa.
During their time in Denmark, the group was accompanied by SKOV’s Support Manager Vernon H. Espinosa from Mexico. The group was trained by Service Technician Kjeld Jensen, Service Engineer Mads Høgsgaard, Fitter Brian Nielsen og Trainer Preben Jespersen and various SKOV specialists also made presentations.
