Accounting for split gender?

The gender split is accounted for in the comparison because an average is calculated which makes it possible to use gender split for the benchmarking with other producers using ’AsHatched’.

The system checks whether the batch is producing with split gender by looking into the incoming data. If there are seperat values for male and female the batch is registered as producing with split gender.

Regarding the weight then the system looks for male and female values. Is only one gender registered (because it is a gender split batch but only with one gender) then this value is used – otherwise an average of the weight of the two genders will be calculated.

The same procedure is used for the other values that are based on gender split production in order to get values that are as similar as possible to ’AsHatched’ in order to be able to compare.
