New and bigger exhaust unit

 

At SKOV, we take great pride in listening to our customers and developing and modifying our products from the demands in the market.
For the past 25 years, the DA 600 exhaust unit has been one of SKOV's best-selling products – and for good reasons. The exhaust unit is of high quality, easy to maintain and easy to install, which makes it a popular choice all over the world.
In recent years, we have experienced a clear need for something bigger, and we are therefore happy to introduce the DA 820. The DA 820 is an upscaled model of the DA 600 and contains the same excellent features but on a larger scale.

Bigger and better
With an inside diameter of 820 mm, the DA 820 can exhaust 75% more air than the DA 600 that has a diameter of 650 mm. The increased performance means that more m3 of air are exhausted per unit, which ultimately leads to a need for fewer exhaust units per house. Fewer units per house have a lot of benefits, including the decreased cost of installation and freight, less cabling, and fewer units to clean and maintain.
Just like the DA 600, the DA 820 can be installed as either a roof or wall outlet, depending on the optimal conditions for the system. All additional SKOV components for exhaust units have similarly been made available for the DA 820, including the drip tray, light bowl, and roof cap with a net to avoid birds entering the house.




Energy efficient
At SKOV, we aspire to continuously develop the best quality products, not only in terms of usage and capacity but also in energy level. The fan in DA 820 is efficient concerning energy consumption, and SKOV has developed a new design for the fan blade, which enables the unit to exhaust the maximum amount of air while keeping the energy consumption low. Additionally, the DA 820 can operate SKOV's Dynamic MultiStep, for an even more energy efficient performance. The high capacity fits very well with a DA 1700 in a Dynamic MultiStep system and creates a great match between performance and energy consumption.
